everyday 40k

25th December 202140k

Going back 10-15 years I was better known for the comic Ninja Bunny, now most of my free time is taken up with Warhammer so it was nice for when my art and Warhammer hobbies can intersect together.

The Concept of Everyday 40k is to showcase the mundane drudgery of everyday life for citizens within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, it’s certainly one of the aspects of 40k I find most fascinating. Each comic would be a different story with new characters and settings, whether that’s a bemused family of Chaos Cultists whose child refuses to worship their dark lord or an unsuspecting passenger boarding a dreaded Black Ship thinking they’re going on a cruise to Holy Terra. Whatever it might be the most important rule is always no Space marines, or ideally anything which features on the tabletop for that matter, though I couldn’t help but feature Inquisitors in the first comic.

I drew the initial first 2 comics many years back with the idea of pitching it to Warhammer Community, hopefully being able to then produce more. They’ve since been sat around on my hard drive gathering virtual dust. Now with my Hobby Advent Calendar in full swing it seems like a perfect time to share them with the rest of the world. Enjoy them for what they are, have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year and I’ll see you all in 2022.
