A hostile environment filter set for kitting out your tanks for hazardous environments. This five part resin kit comes with two modular components allowing you to further customise your tanks:

  • Ammo Box Stowage: Three ammo boxes securely held in place with a leather strap.
  • Command Radio with Small Hatch: Upgrade your tank to a command vehicle. There’s space for two antenna which can be added using wire or plastic bristles (see photos for examples).

This kit can replace the top hatch from the Chimera in Warhammer 40k, but can also be used on other tabletop vehicles and tanks.

Description

A hostile environment filter set for kitting out your tanks for hazardous environments. This kit can replace the top hatch from the Chimera in Warhammer 40k and Horus Heresy but could equally be used on any scale model tank with the appropriate space. Perfect for making a classic Storm Chimera.

5 part resin kit containing: A base plate, a rotary vent, filter tube and two modular pieces allowing you to add either a set of three ammo boxes, or a radio unit and small hatch. For the radio unit, antenna can be added using thin wire or plastic bristles from a washing up brush, simple drill a hole and glue in place.

Contains fragile parts that must be handled with care. Resin kits should be washed in warm soapy water before use, some work may be needed to remove mould lines and fill in small air bubbles. If you need help you can follow the Beginers Guide to Resin. Resin components may vary in colour. Pressure cast for improved quality. Designed and sculpted by Philip Spence, hand cast in the UK.

    Hands down one of the best kits for any 40K vehicle, and essential if you’d like to recreate cool-looking and lore-accurate Storm Chimeras (Looking at you, Steel legion players!).
    I would be using mine with the comms array most of the time however I have magnetised the ammo boxes to change them from time to time.
    Absolutely, highly recommended!
