6 part resin kit to convert one tank with a left and right internal sponson, please note this kit is recommended for advanced hobbyists. Conversion kit adding internal sponsons to your tanks, suitable for unbuilt Leman Russ Battle Tanks in Warhammer 40k and Horus Heresy, along with other scale model tanks.
Watch the installation video guide. The kit is now in v2 with improved frames, which are studier and have less cleanup required than those shown in the video.
Will this kit work with the new Solar Auxilia Leman Russ Strike Tank?
Currently I haven’t got hold of the new tank to test out, but in theory it should be compatible. Just adjust the measurement points if needed to ensure one of the protruding hatches is fully removed.
Can I get this as an downloadable STL?
No, this kit is not 3D printed but sculpted using traditional methods and then cast in resin using a silicone mould. As such, as digital STL for this kit does not exist.
PREPERATION
Contains fragile parts that must be handled with care. Resin kits should be washed in warm soapy water before use, some work may be needed to remove mould lines and fill in small air bubbles. If you need help you can follow the Beginners Guide to Resin.
Resin components may vary in colour. Supplied unassembled, unpainted. Pressure cast for improved quality. Designed and sculpted by Philip Spence, hand cast in the UK.

Purchased a few of these for my DKoK army Russ’ and absolutely love this kit. It’s relatively easy to add to the miniature with a little guidance from the YouTube tutorial and the end result is a fantastic looking miniature.

I’ve postponed doing a Krieg army until these came out, now I have 3 sets on my Alpha pattern LRBTs. It’s an elegant solution in a grimdark universe, that will make your tanks stand out and avoid your Russes to look like shoeboxes or bricks with smaller bricks sticking to their sides. I’d highly recommend following the tutorial that Philip prepared in YT as measurements are spot on, and if you are skilled on it and have access to a rotary tool the whole process is super simple and will take you less than 5 minutes.

This conversion was an excellent addition to my Leman Russ tank, the parts were crisply moulded and clean up and fitting straight forward. I always disliked the look of the external sponsons but this made for a much sleeker vehicle.

Great kit, very professionally done. YouTube tutorial covers everything you need to know. Takes some skill overall but looked great finished. It looks very natural when completed. Great detail in rivets. First assembly a little slow as I was learning but 2nd and 3rd assembly were very fast and easy. I will recommend this for sure.

Absolutly love them, got 6 sets for my krieg mars leman russes and sadly only have one finished the backlog of 130 infantry definitely come first.
